hi

The Fites

It is unfortunate that you feel this way about Dr. Martin Luther King. While all his dreams have obviously not been realized in our country, it is still an important goal to aspire to. It takes people to make changes, people that stand up for what they believe in. Giving up on your beliefs, or a philosophy for a better environment, just because others do will never solve anything. If that were the case the Civil Rights movement would not have made the strides that it has made to this day. Obviously there needs to be more work done, not only here, but throughout the world. But, as you said on your blog, "I refuse to honor him and his ideas, because no one else does", we would urge you to look further, there are some people still out there who have hope for the better.

Two Dogs

Dr. King's dream could not be more dead than it is today. And that is sad.
